Elna has been in the General Insurance industry for over 11 years. She started out as a data capturer at an Insurance Broker in South Africa at the age of 18 and was shortly promoted to senior underwriter. In the years following she expanded her areas of expertise and worked as a Broker Consultant/Commercial Sales Consultant/Claims Advisor and spent 2 years as an Insurance Assessor.

Being an energetic person who is always ready for a challenge, she ventured out of her comfort zone and moved to New Zealand with her daughter (Jonell) in 2010 and has quickly grown fond of the beauty and security New Zealand has to offer. She started out as an Account Broker with AON NZ and has recently joined the Moneybox team. As a Fire and General Advisor, Elna's primary role is to provide quotations and advise on both Domestic (Home/Contents/Vehicle) and Commercial (Business) General Insurance. Elna strongly believes in providing the highest level of customer service and advice to her clients who are in need of some guidance regarding their existing and new General Insurance profiles.

Her time away from work is spent with her daughter and socialising with friends but she is also very passionate about her creative interests such as painting. Reading inspirational books and catching up on the latest movies is also very high on her priority list.
